saying so long

I'm retiring this blog after writing in it intermittently since last summer.  I can't talk about my reasons for stopping here and am unlikely to discuss them with very many people, as I am uninterested in feeding an already toxic situation.  I'll be posting regularly on a blog kept strictly for academic topics from now on; feel free to let me know if you'd like me to send you the URL.
